The sun came out and everything changed. We’re getting outside, using the solar cooker, and getting the bees ready for Spring.

Solar cooking is fun and cool (literally, for your kitchen), and I’ve designed and built a great one. Sadly I fear it won’t enjoy wide popularity in the age of Wal-Mart. We’ll love it regardless. We started a new tradition of eating an Easter Bunny (meat, not chocolate) for Easter dinner. We also hunted eggs (the traditional way) and went for a nice hike — we have a picture of a parasite to prove it. Our nephew/good friend/sons’ godfather Nathan is visiting. Calloo, callay! In his honor we are picking weeds and feeding them to him. Hey, they’re really good! |
